Amazon.com Review Many magazines publish lists, ranking best and worst and most improved, but Forbes alone can claim its readership is on the list. Each year, the magazine names the richest people and the biggest companies, and those very folks subscribe to this nervy and sly business pub. Forbes covers global business stories with insight, solid sourcing, and the sort of groupie zeal usually reserved for fanzines. No merger, new ad campaign, or lawsuit goes unnoticed and stories always focus on the movers who are shaking things up. Read Forbes to make sense of today's volatile market--or just for the sheer pleasure of reading good reporting. --Edith Sorenson
Product Description Forbes focuses on top management and those aspiring to positions of corporate leadership in business. This insider publication features information on successful companies and individuals, industries, marketing, law, taxes, technology, computers, communications, investments, management performance

Good business and investment reporting, could do with less politics July 9, 2010 Eric Aderhold (Seattle, WA USA) I learn quite a bit about what is going on in the business world from this magazine. It has stories about companies and business leaders from every industry imaginable, as well as plenty of information and advice about personal investing.
I do wish they devoted a bit less space to conservative editorial content. I understand it's important to keep up to date on the workings of government, and how they will affect the world, but the very one-sided editorial pages tend to detract from the fairly balanced stories in the rest of the magazine.
Look at the dates on the really positive reviews June 9, 2010 Robert S. Tobias (Arlington, VA USA) Forbes ain't what it used to be. I read it a long time ago and recently accepted a $12/year subscription to get it again. Boy, was I disappointed. It was the same stuff, month after month, talking about how rich rich people were. No insights, no observations, no analysis, lots of ads.
Before you subscribe try to get your hands on a current issue and see if it is what you want it to be.
Magazine subscription date unacceptable April 5, 2010 Prefer Not to Use my Name 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I had a subscription to Forbes that expired mid-March 2010. So I did a new order via Amazon. It costs about $20 more this way as Delta magazine had an unbelievable price of $15 a year, but i did it at amazon for convenience so I could put all my magazines there. Unbeleivable although the order was placed mid-March, I get a notice from Forbes that the subscription started a full month before Feb 11, 2010. I don't need magazines from a month ago especially as I have them already. When I went to enter a problem with the subscription on-line, guess what? Amazon doesn't deal with it. It is automatically routed to Forbes. And so I have now received 3 different emails with dates ranging from Feb - March - April for subsctiption expiration. And one message said to ingnore the date on the label.
I do hope amazon reads this for feedback and learns that if they are going to take a piece of the action, they need to devote some energy to this and give customers a chance. Until then I shall order no more magazines through amazon.
Don't waste your money (or time) January 25, 2010 Lane Sutton 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Forbes used to be a good magazine with a lot of good, business content along with technology (which I enjoy hearing about and am interested in). Not only did I ever receive many issues as they were not delivered (this also happened with TIME) but when I did get them, the issues weren't good. I would never pay 30 dollars for a subscription, I paid $17.94 but it was not even worth it. If you are worried about the issues not arriving which most people would be then do not waste your money or time. I had to call up and get my subscription extended but I still have missed every issue since I called (5 issues missed between then and now).
